  1. Garden sheds may also be called storage sheds or potting sheds. Do a search of these names for more complete info.

Most garden shed kits provide walls and a roof, and are usually made of metal. You have to build a floor, otherwise it sits on the ground. You can also set the shed atop tamped gravel, concrete pavers, or a concrete slab, but it’s best to provide something the base of the walls can be attached to for stability. Be sure and use lumber treated to resist rot and insects to support the floor.

The exterior details of all sheds tend to be very basic. One of the previous answers gave a link to a very fancy shed. Most don’t look like that, because all that detail is costly. The interiors have no shelving, and few have windows. They are designed to hold lawn mowers, and other garden tools, so they have minimum head room. If you want lighting or a plug outlet you will have to run the line yourself or hire an electrician.

  2. A garden shed kit is basically a DYI (Do it Yourself) Kit which includes everything you need to assemble your shed. It comes with all the fixings, bolts and nuts to assemble your shed on your own.

  3. i just got a new pc and i was looking at these Powerline adaptors as an alternative to a long cable from the router. does the “Netgear XEB1004 85Mbps Powerline Ethernet Switch Kit” or any other kind reduce the strength of the broadband signal, or does it still give the same strength at the other end as if my pc was connected straight to the router?

  4. i’m 15, and i’m not going to be able to get one right away, but as soon as i get a job, hence: enough money :P i told her i’d pay for EVERYTHING, but the only reason she’s saying no is because she hears they stink, and she thinks it will be way to hard to care for. so my question is, do they REALLY stink? if so, how do i prevent it? and what is there to caring for them? how much will it cost me to get everything to start with? and how much would vet cost be? thanks!

  5. Hi all. I live in the UK & would like to start a gardening business. I’ve been looking around for more info via google & have come to realise there’s quite a lot to it (before I thought was just a case ‘cutting stuff’!, lol). So basically I need to learn how cut & care for lawns/hedges properly & professionally.

So can you recommend good current information? (books, web sites, DVD’s, etc)

Please bare in mind I have 0 gardening experience (other than mowing my garden but the lawn looks terrible!) but I’m prepared to throw myself into this & really want to learn about it. I’m recovering from a few operations at the moment & I want to take advantage of this downtime to study the basics I will need to deliver a top class service. I have a family to support, so I NEED this to succeed.

Thanks for reading! (& any answers of course!)

P.S I would LOVE to hear tips from Pro gardeners!

  6. I would like to import one container of wine ( 20 feet) from overseas, and I need to find a place where I can store it in Sydney and greater Sydney. Is there anyone able to help me?

    Thanks in advance!
